Does this sound like you?

Social anxiety can turn ordinary moments into real challenges. Maybe you:

  • Dread small talk or meeting new people

  • Avoid phone calls or speaking up in meetings

  • Replay conversations on repeat in your head

  • Skip events you would actually like to attend

What we’ll work on together

Social anxiety can be isolating. It can feel like you’re the only one who finds everyday moments this hard. This program is designed to help you:

  • Understand your anxiety and how it shows up for you

  • Notice and gently challenge the thoughts that hold you back

  • Build confidence through gradual, supported practice

  • Grow within a supportive group that shares similar goals

How the program works

Each weekly session combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with improv techniques to help you practice everyday social situations, like speaking up in a meeting or handling an awkward moment. You practice in a low-pressure space, alongside others who know how it feels to have social anxiety.

  • 9 weekly sessions in a small group of 8

  • Led by a registered psychologist

  • Practice everyday situations step by step

  • No acting or improv experience needed

A typical session

Each session usually follows a similar rhythm:

  • Explore: We talk about the thoughts and beliefs that can make social situations feel so difficult, and how they show up in everyday life.

  • Practice: We try light, guided improv exercises that let us play with different social situations and discover new ways to navigate them in a supportive space.

  • Reflect: We talk about what came up, what felt hard and what you noticed about yourself, then discuss how to bring what you learned into your everyday life.

Can I use my extended health benefits?

What if I feel too anxious to join a group?
